Chef Markens Isidor began his studies at the Le Cordon Bleu , Miami where he graduated with a Degree in Culinary Arts in 2005. He then studied French regional cuisine at the Le Cordon Bleu , Paris.
Returning to Miami, Markens began his career in a series of prestigious hotels, restaurants and convention center roles throughout the US, France and Mexico.In 2005 became the Banquet Chef of Washington Dc Convention Center. In 2007, Markens became the Chef Manager of Nikin Café in Miami, FL where he created an atmosphere capturing a combination of French cooking techniques with Caribbean and African influences.
Additionally, Markens was the Chef of Le P’tit Resto which features Caribbean inspired cuisine with a French flare. In 2008, Markens continued his career with Levy’s Restaurants as Executive Sous Chef at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC and served as the Executive Chef at the Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, MD. then moved to Dallas Tx worked as chef ( Dallas Market Center) . Now serves as the Chef de Cuisine at Indigo Club In Haiti.
